Multi-Station Headset Intercom Kit (SC Jun ‘92)
This multi-station headset intercom is designed to provide clear communication in high noise environments such as race tracks and rock concerts. It is compatible with existing commercial systems and features low noise circuitry.

200W MOSFET Amplifier Module Kit - Fits 2U 19" Rack CaseThis kit combines the ever popular 200W MOSFET Amplifier module kit and a suitable power supply to run the unit at it''s full rated power, all on a tough steel base plate. The power supply uses a 300VA toroidal transformer , which provides enough power for the module to generate its FULL output power of 140W RMS into 8Ω or 200W RMS into 4Ω. Beware of inferior products which use cheap transformers rated at the same output power as the amplifier. Remember amplifier power supplies are only 50% efficient ! The K 5515 amplifier was
designed by Silicon Chip and is a true "amplifier for audiophiles".
It boasts ultra low distortion and incredibly flat frequency response. It is supplied in a precision CNC machined chassis which ensures the project assembles with ease. The front and rear panels are professionally silk screened to give a real commercial look. The amplifier is rated at
100 Watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms at typically 0.002% distortion with a frequency response of 20Hz-20KHz ±0.5dB. The performance is equal to or better than commercial brand amplifiers costing many times more. 135W Class AB Audio Amplifier Module Kit

Speaker Level Meter Kit - Requires 9V Battery
Setting up a home theatre system? Want to adjust all the speaker levels precisely? Here is the way to do it, with this handy little Loudspeaker Level Meter. It has its own inbuilt microphone and a 10-LED bargraph display to let you quickly set all channels to the same relative level. And you can use it to set up the levels in a PA system as well.
You might think it is a straightforward matter to set up the levels in your home theatre system but depending on your room layout and the physical positioning of the various speakers, it can be surprisingly tricky. This is especially the case when you are trying to get an overall good balance at a number of listening positions.
Without the correct balance, the surround effect will not be the best it can be. Balance between the centre speaker and the left and right channels is critical since they present the front sound-scape. And as is often the case in many home theatre systems, if the centre loudspeaker is too dominant, it will detract from the imaging.
With the Loudspeaker Level meter, you can set up the levels accurately and quickly. It is just a small box with a 10-LED bargraph display on the front. Controls include the power switch and a level adjustment. On the base is a small electret microphone for monitoring the sound level from the loudspeaker.
