Redback 4x 60W Power Amplifier for PA - 2RU 19"Engineered for a growing demand from venues such as RSL Clubs, Taverns, Hotels, Conference Centres and Function Centres to have individual program sources playing to different rooms simultaneously.
This unique amplifier package houses 4 independent 60W amplifiers
together in one compact 2RU 19” chassis. Input and output connectors are rear panel mounted,
similarly volume controls are rear panel mounted thus preventing unauthorised use or misuse.
Visual indication of power, overload, signal presence, fault and output are provided for each amplifier on the front panel.

Designed to meet the requirements of medium sized professional public address installations, delivering an output power of 40W, 60W and 100W RMS respectively.
Frequency response extends from 60Hz to 15kHz at a total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 0.5%. Features include, VOX muting, four balanced line microphone inputs, four stereo line input sockets, and separate bass and treble controls enabling a diversity of installation applications, including schools, public halls, workshops and sporting complexes.
VOX muting is in-built and can be activated on inputs 1 & 2 as required via the internal jumpers. Once activated input 1 will override all other inputs, including the alert/evac input. Input 2 will override inputs 3 & 4.

Redback 15W Public Address Amplifier - MonoSuper compact with surprising performance specifications, intended for smaller PA system applications. Our engineering team based the design around a National TDA1519 monolithic IC achieving virtually “destruction proof” operation under quite severe misuse such as over temperature, over voltage, over load and short circuit speaker line conditions.
The amplifier is extremely stable even where microphone (balanced line) and speaker cables are run together for long distances. The unit will automatically shut down when severely overloaded and will restore to normal operation when the fault condition is removed. Suitable as a stand alone desk/bench unit or rack mount with optional hardware. Up to 2 units can be accommodated side by side in 1RU of rack space (44mm high). Dual power input option of either 240VAC or 12-14VDC is provided, making it well suited for use in tour buses and mobile installations.

Cable Tracer - Tri-Colour LED DisplayThis cable tracer is perfect for locating faulty wiring or conversely confirming correct wiring.
The unit consists of two parts. The first part is the tone generator. This is connected to one end of the cable by the test leads provided. The generator can transmit either a single or dual tone signal.
The second part is the probe. This is used to identify the other end of the cable. To do this you simply probe around in the area you suspect. The probe will sniff out the appropriate cable, even in a bunch of cables. When it detects the signal transmitted by the generator in the correct cable it emits an audible tone. The generator can also be used to check cable continuity, identify cable faults, determine line polarity and voltage in network and modular telephone lines.

Professional Function Generator - 3MHz Frequency Counter
|
|
One of the most versatile pieces of test equipment you can own. It provides a consistent waveform output, useful for checking response of audio circuits etc. This digital function generator has an in-built frequency counter, as well as functioning as a standard waveform generator with sinusoidal, triangle and square wave outputs. DC offset adjustment allows the waveform to be shifted above or below 0V. Output amplitude is adjustable from 0 to 10V p-p via front panel control, with a switchable -20dB attenuator. Output frequency is adjustable between 0.03Hz to 3MHz via front panel rotary dial over seven ranges. It has an external sync output for synchronising other test equipment to the signal generator, such as CROs and logic probes. This allows observation of phase shifts relative to the signal generator output. It also features a 3 MHz 4 digit frequency counter with external BNC counter input.
