Many domestic alarm systems can be complicated to install and intimidating to program. Not so with this 4 zone system, which can be installed and set up by the competent home handyman!
It is perfect for home units, villas, flats, even workshops or small businesses and is simplicity itself to install. It comes complete with plugpack, two passive infra red (PIR) detectors, four reed switches for door and window protection, siren unit and main keypad control unit.
The system components are connected by basic 'figure 8' two core cable (50 metres included), and connections to the sensors, reed switches and siren unit are non-polarity sensitive. All zones are fully supervised, meaning that if the wires are cut or shorted out, the alarm will trigger. The control pad has alarm status and zone integrity indicator LEDs.
Individual zones can be set to 'bypass' or 'Home Bypass' if they are not required to be armed.
Multiple sensors may be connected to one zone, for example if two PIRs are used to cover a large area. Battery backup is provided by 8 x 1.5V AA cells to maintain system integrity in the event of mains power failure.
In the Off mode, the alarm provides a Door Chime function on Zone 1.

This DIY alarm system is incredibly simple to install, setup and use! A typical installation would only take around a half a day to complete. Perfect for home units, flats, villas or office suites!
