For multi room installations: Where you wish to control equipment from a central location (eg equipment rack), the A 1040 can be linked to the A 1041 up to 60m apart via UTP cable using the RJ45 sockets. For more than 2 rooms the A 1041 junction box + targets can be daisy chained allowing many rooms to be used. The A 1041 junction box + targets have DIP switch selection to send IR to either discrete components (maximum 2 - see below), common IR signal (maximum 8 devices from 4 outputs using dual emitters), or a direct injection signal (one only)
